iPhone 18 Pro Rumored to Test Under-Display Face ID

According to the latest reports, Apple is testing Under-Display Face ID for the iPhone 18 Pro models.

It is understood that Apple will utilize a special "spliced micro-lens glass" panel, allowing the Face ID components to be placed beneath the screen. This means the area can both display content and allow infrared sensors to pass through to perform 3D facial recognition.

However, it appears that the iPhone 18 Pro will not completely eliminate the Dynamic Island this year. Instead, the size of the pill-shaped cutout area will only be reduced.

Apple is expected to release the iPhone 18 Pro series models next September, alongside a brand-new foldable iPhone.
